After a SOLD OUT national ‘Fan’s First’ tour earlier this year, it is now time for the rest of Australia to experience Josh Pyke’s brilliant new record The Beginning And The End Of Everything live, as Josh takes his swag of new tunes and his band on the road this August/September.
The Beginning And The End Of Everything marks Josh Pyke’s fourth studio album and is a record that explores ideas of desire, death and legacy. For Josh these are the beginning and the end of all decisions made in his life and, as with previous albums, a record of a period of time in his life. Recorded with John Castle (The Bamboos, Washington and The Drones), Josh regards The Beginning And The End Of Everything as his most personal release to date.
Josh Pyke has become one of Australia’s most beloved and recognisable singer/songwriters thanks to his ability to craft intelligent pop music with uniquely Australian influences and experiences.

To celebrate this exciting news, Josh has teamed up with Sydney art duo Greedy Hen, to create a video for the album’s opening track ‘Bug Eyed Beauty’. An introduction to the record’s themes and pace, ‘Bug Eyed Beauty’ and the accompanying visuals wonderfully embody the essence of The Beginning And The End Of Everything – a collection of songs that intricately weave together ideas of freedom, desire and death. Dear friends,
I have some really joyful news, which unfortunately also leads to postponing the Brisvegas Fans First show.
In a nutshell….Whilst all this album making business has been going on, what I hadn’t mentioned, was that my amazing wife has also been creating a beautiful baby behind the scenes! 
Long story short, as always, I tried to cram too many things in, and thought it’d be fine to make it to all these shows before the baby arrived….Best laid plans hey! 
So, the bottom line is I need to postpone the Brisbane show to be here in Sydney with my family. I’m sure you guys will understand, and I want to say how much i appreciate your support on this, as i do on everything!
At this point, I’m going to do the Sydney show, as it doesn’t take me too far from home.
Thanks again for understanding, and I can’t wait to see you all soon!
